Foulger family reunion 2010- Beaver Creek Lodge, UT

Salt Lake flats

The Foulger family reunion talent show is always a hit. Our entry this year was Tatum performing a song and dance with her cousin, Anna Bannana-Under the Sea. It was a big hit and we're proud of Tatum's initiative to represent our family :)

Kim Foulger and granddaughter Tylie performed a very cute song also.

Gabi resisted joining McKenna and Tatum, she'd been pictured out apparently!

swinging is Gabi's favorite play activity these days, she got her fill of it as we had a wonderful playset at the lodge and many cousins to keep her busy!

our Beaver Creek Lodge set amidst such beautiful peaceful surroundings

We took a beautiful hike along the canyon, here's a partial group shot. Gabi's on Lisa's(white hat) lap, Tatum's next to her, McKenna is far ahead with her older cousins. Grandma Yvonne Foulger is in the middle with the red shirt and straw hat, the Matriarch of the family. Next to Brad his nephew Clay, then Carma, Matt and Rebecca, and on far left end is Jeff and Kim with kids and grandkids in between. We had between 40-50 family attend.

Once we reached the higher elevations we enjoyed the moutains and green views.

The dessert view was great.

We enjoyed all the scenary on our way to Utah, quite different than what we see in CR!

Paris hotel

Fun to see the many attractions in Las Vegas, never a dull moment there!

We drove thru Las Vegas from Disney Land to Utah.

Foulger US holiday- Summer 2010

First stop in the States, the happiest place on earth "DisneyLand" a family favorite of ours. We've been there every year since McKenna was born, a fun 11yr run! This was Gabi's 1st visit and my parents, Bob and Aileen, met us in Anatheim for the fun which we really enjoyed! The weather was cool and overcast, perfect transition for us coming from the rainy season in Costa Rica.

Gabi napped fabulously 3hr each day, guess the stimulation paid off dividends. The only bummer was the start of this day's nap began shortly before we conquered the line to see Mickey while everyone else were on the big rides. Mickey dispalyed his personality, this obviously wasn't the 1st time he'd faced a sleeping child :)

Both McKenna and Tatum have sprouted this year, they're definately getting taller.

Space Mountain which was quite a challenge to get on ......after 3 failed attempts where the ride closed, we finally got there and had great fun!

Gabi seemed to like Pluto best, he does resemble our dog Goldie a bit maybe that was the connection :)

Fun to come across this Kellogg's truck exhibit, fitting as my father worked for Kelloggs for many years, even taking our family all the way to Michigan where we lived for 3 years enjoying the snow and life living on a lake. Quite a change from our AZ and CA living.

We took this picture for my nephew Colten who loves "Cars"......Gabi didn't quite get the fact that we stood in line to take pictures by two cars that didn't move, she was more interested in getting in and driving them!

It's a Small World was Gabi's favorite ride, she jumped up and down with all the singing dolls throughout the ride.

Gabi enjoyed strolling through Mickey's house but when it came to approaching him she wanted nothing to do with it :) After this experience we dismissed visiting Minnie's house next. Maybe next year?

Saving our bench to watch the parade.

Papa Bob and Gabi taking a break, all this walking at DisneyLand is hard work!

Gabi was full steam ahead ready to drive her car! With Brad's help at the gas petal she was off and roaring.

After some coaxing Taty drove the car and she was quite impressed with her driving skills! We're going to have watch her at home so she doesn't sneak into the driver's seat.

Waiting in line for the auto bahn.

Buzz Lightyear, Nana Leen's in training!

Thunder Mountain, still one of our favorite roller coasters at DisneyLand.

On Main Street before entering Day 1, after a short night's sleep the night before they're still eager to get started! Maybe it was shortest for Brad and I as the girls slept in the plane, rental car so our 2am Anaheim hotel entrance was non-eventful for them. When they awoke at 7am ready to roll it took Brad and I by storm, nothing like 3 kids pushing their parents to get going!

McKenna and I started out the plane journey sitting together.

Our start, July 4th 2010 out of San Jose, Costa Rica. Across the aisle Brad, Taty and Gabi, 2-1/2, for the 1st time had her own seat and was mighty proud!
